UCCC Training Course Details

Description UCCC Certificate training course covers a comprehensive theoretical examination of the Uniform Consumer Credit Code (The "UCCC"). The focus of the course is geared towards delivering a practical understanding of the UCCC and its implications, rather than a workplace procedural guide.

Training Objectives At the completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate their understanding of the UCCC's objectives and the broad issues that bought about its existence.
• Demonstrate their understanding of the specific concepts within the UCCC and how they relate to general consumer products.
• Demonstrate the ability to both identify a Regulated or Unregulated loan and competently apply the assessment procedure.
• Demonstrate their awareness of the broader issues that the UCCC affects (i.e. advertising).
• Demonstrate their understanding of the consequences of non-compliance with the UCCC.

Part B - Course Questionnaire The exam consists of 29 questions (question 7 has three parts) and is completed online. Pass is 100% correct and students get three attempts to pass the exam. Students passing the exam will receive a certificate of completion.

Course Cost The UCCC Training Course costs $90 including GST.

Starting the UCCC Course

1. First, create an account. There is no charge to create an account.
2. An email will be sent to the email address you supplied when creating the account. The email contains a link to complete the registration, click on this link. Click on the Login button and login with the email address and password you have provided.
3. Click on the UCCC Exam in the menu and you will be asked for your payment details. You can pay with Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, American Express, Cheque or money order.
4. Download the Prescribed Reading (in PDF format).
5. When you are ready to do the test, click on UCCC Exam in the menu and answer the questions. When you complete the exam, you will be told how you did.
6. Students who pass the exam and their payment has been approved will receive a certificate of completion.
