How do I join?

If you can print from your computer, use the Online Application Form. You will be asked for your details and the form will be filled in for you. Then just print out the form, sign it and include payment and other documentation which is listed on the form. If you can't print from your computer, we can post a Membership Application Form to you.

Certificate of Attainment

The FBAA has introduced a ‘Certificate of Attainment’ for our Members who work in the UCCC/Mortgage area. To be eligible to this ‘Certificate of Attainment’ you will have to have: -

• Current membership of the FBAA - (Accredited or Associate)
• At least two years experience in the industry (this will be supported with CV and provision of 4 industry references)
• Certificate 4 in Mortgage Lending along with at least 12 months experience in the finance industry
• Proof you are covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance (If you are an employee/associate and don't have personal PI cover then a letter from your employer/accredited member confirming cover)
• Proof of Membership of COSL or BFSO
• Evidence of up to date 'Individual' AML/CTF (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006) Compliance Training.

All the information will be collated and stored at the National Office of FBAA. The Certificate will be valid for a period of twelve months. To be eligible to receive a Certificate of Attainment for the preceding twelve months the member will need to supply:

• Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance coverage
• Proof of continuing Membership COSL or BFSO

At present this will be a free service to our Members.
